MonkeyTilt, the crypto casino and sportsbook that launched in March 2024, is shutting down. A notice on its homepage says play has ended, deposits are disabled and the site closes on 9 November 2026. The notice gives no reason for the closure.
Players are told to withdraw their balances through Tilt Rips, a digital trading-card pack platform that launched in May 2026.
What else has been reported
Published reports of the closure add the details below. We have not confirmed them independently.
Play stopped on 13 October, and outstanding bonus balances are being converted into withdrawable cash. Withdrawals are typically processed within 24 to 48 hours, and players can still access their accounts and withdraw remaining balances after 9 November, with no end date given for that access. MonkeyTilt is also reported to be surrendering its operating licence, though the licence and the regulator have not been named.
Funding
MonkeyTilt is reported to have raised a $30 million Series A led by Pantera Capital in November 2024, after a seed round of about $21 million. Other reported backers are Polychain Capital, PokerGO, Hack VC, Dream Ventures, Accomplice and Mirana Ventures. Together, the publicly reported rounds come to roughly $51 million.
In May 2026, founder Sam Kiki said the company had raised more than $80 million. That figure has not been broken down publicly. MonkeyTilt is also reported to have reached $200 million in monthly betting volume within eight months of launching.
